Closing Date July 31st at 11:59 PM *Please note registration fees are for costs associated with running and operating the league, not the cost of your jersey* *6th graders will have the opportunity to purchase their jersey upon the conclusion of the season* Combine Night(s): Skills/Drills Competition and assessment! 1st and 2nd Grade - Monday, August 2nd from 6-7PM NWHS Practice Fields 3rd and 4th Grade - Monday, August 2nd from 7-8PM NWHS Practice Fields 5th and 6th Grade - Tuesday, August 3rd from 6-7PM NWHS Practice Fields *If you are unable to make designated night, please come on the other night Team Announcement: Friday, August 6th at 6PM NWHS Andrews Field Practice Schedule: Practice for 1st and 2nd Grade takes place approximately 1/2 hour before each game Practices for 5th and 6th Grade will be each Monday, starting August 9th, during the season from 6:00-7:30PM Practices for 3rd and 4th Grade will be each Thursday, August 12th, during the season from 6:00-7:30PM Note: No Practice on September 6th Regular Season Games: Saturday, August 28th - Saturday, October 2nd 1st and 2nd Grade: 9AM 3rd and 4th Grade: 10AM 5th and 6th Grade: 11AM Note: Games will be played on September 2nd and NOT September 4th. Friday, September 10th - NWYFL Night at Varsity Football Game on Andrews Field Panther Bowl playoffs on Monday October 4th and Thursday October 7th. Panther Bowl October 10th. NorthWood Youth Football League (NWYFL) is a nonprofit organization aimed at giving the youth of our area a chance to participate in the great sport of football. Our focus is on helping our youth build character, sportsmanship, self-confidence, responsibility, and teamwork in a competitive environment while gaining a strong sense of community. NWYFL provides a structured, safe, and secure environment for the children to learn these life skills. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of football in an atmosphere where FUN is the keyword in fundamental.
