Freshmen Head Coach
Coach Furfaro is in his eighth year of teaching and coaching at Northwood High School. Mike will serve as the head freshmen football coach and will work specifically with the quarterbacks, running backs and linebackers.
Mike graduated from Indiana University in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and in 2016 with a Master's Degree in Secondary Education .
Coach Furfaro is a 2011 Mishawaka High School Graduate and received varsity letters in rugby and football. As a senior, Mike received first team all-conference as a member of the 2010 undefeated sectional champion team.
Mike currently lives in Elkhart with his wife, who is a teacher at Fairfield Jr-Sr High School.

Reason for Coaching: Football teaches many life lessons, by coaching I am able to give back to the game that gave me so much by sharing those lessons with our student athletes.
