Mark Alfano
Freshmen Assistant Coach
Mark Alfano joined the NorthWood coaching staff in 2017 as the Freshman offensive coordinator. Mark has coached at the pee wee, Junior high, Freshman and varsity level for the last 20 years.
Mark graduated from NorthWood High School in 1981 and was the Quarterback on the 1980 State Runner-Up Team Coached by Jim Andrews. This was the first Panther team to make it to the State finals where they played Franklin Central. Mark played Quarterback for two years and ended up with a 19 and 4 record. In two years as the signal caller for the Panthers Mark received 2 All conference honors, 1 All State, 1 All State honorable mention, 2 All area, 2 most valuable player, Team Tri Captain and played in the North South All-Star Game in 1981. Mark currently lives in Warsaw Indiana with his Wife Michelle. Mark and Michelle have 6 children Aaron 27, Amber 24, Hailey 24, Jeremy 21, Evan 19 and Ashton 11. |
