Aug 22; 1985 NLC Champs (40 years)
We celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1985 NorthWood Football Team. Coached by the late Jim Andrews, this Black Crunch squad posted an 8-2 record in route to the Northern Lakes Conference Championship. They were class 3A #1 ranked team for 7 straight weeks and outscored their opponents 274-99. This legendary Panther team was captained by Fred Jessup, Scott Crist, and Todd Cleveland. Congratulations to this squad and thank you for Respecting the Past.

2025 NorthWood Youth Football League
Our Mission
NorthWood Youth Football League (NWYFL) is a nonprofit organization aimed at giving the youth of our area a chance to participate in the great sport of football. Our focus is on helping our youth build character, sportsmanship, self-confidence, responsibility, and teamwork in a competitive environment while gaining a strong sense of community. NWYFL provides a structured, safe, and secure environment for the children to learn these life skills. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of football in an atmosphere where FUN is the keyword in fundamental.
